Yey… Welcome to my
fourth week posting. It’s still about the work customs in Japan. In this post I
will explain about the work customs of doctors in Japan.
Eg. Japanese Doctors
During this time, Japan
is the main destination for treatment from residents of other countries. The hospital
in Japan has qualified equipment so that treatment can take place very well. Alright
here is about doctor in Japan, happy reading..
1. In
education hospitals in Japan, patient handling is divided based on small teams,
where 1 small team consists of 1 consul, 1 senior resident, 1 or 2 junior
resident and 1 student or young doctor which is responsible for 5-10 patient.
2. Daily
activities include visiting patients 2 times a day (morning and night), before
visiting patients they do a small discussion about the progress of terapy patient.
3. Actually
in Japan, it was not the uniform that made the difference but only on the
identity card. For doctors is blue, pink identity card for nurses, green for
administrative staff/ medical technicians/ laboratory technicians, red for
security/ cleaning service and yellow for medical students.
4. Usually
doctors are considered as public health servants. A doctor works under pressure
from the owner of a hospital where they work. Therefore, doctors always try ro
be friendly and kind. They will answer each patient’s questions and sometimes
they fulfill the patient’s requests. The doctor also should not say in high
tune. Moreover it can make the patient angry because they don’t serve with all
their heart. This will make the name of a hospital worse. However in Japan,
doctor is like a god. Asking questions that is not important and asking for a
drug dosage to doctors are things that is considered rude. You can only sit
down, answer questions, give complaints as requested then go out. Even so, the
doctors in Japan is professional.
5. Japan
is super busy country. Time is very valuable for the residents. Therefore, even
though a clinic or hospital has a fixed opening schedule, you must set the time
before going for treatment. The crowded queues of patients make you have to
wait quite long. Moreover, there is possibility that the doctors needed are
also not in place. That’s why patient must set a time before going to the
clinic or hospital for treatment. This also to make the plan runs smoothly and
there is no time wasted.
Well, that is about Japanese Doctor a little
different with the doctor in Indonesia. Hopefully this information can expand our knowledge. Thank you 😊
